Rebuild Your Vision By Reading
Contrary to popular belief, reading can actually help you rebuild your vision. Scratch that. Reading properly can rebuild your vision.
One of the biggest reasons younger and younger children nowadays are myopic is the fact that they are reading enlarged words. Instead of the size adults are used to, children books and so on are often full of very big words.
This causes their eyes to disperse, causing them to lose their natural focus. If you are not aware of the importance of focus, I suggest you read this article on rebuild your vision through moving.
So how does this apply to you? I’m glad you ask. You see, as children you are trained to lose our focus and as a result, you have unknowingly trained your eyes to do so permanently.
To improve it, you have to regain your focus. When reading, try to focus your attention onto a word at once. If you’re myopic, you can see 4 words to left and right of the word you are actually reading.
What you have to do is focus onto a word at any one time, in such a way that all the others become blur. That’s how people with perfect eyesight read – one word at a time.
Practice makes perfect so don’t give up.
