There’s no secret that women all over use a variety of products to keep their beauty. Many of these secrets are hundreds if not thousands of years old and are being passed from mother to child in all cultures. It is a shame then that Western women have not adopted these more natural methods instead of those that rely on (usually) invasive medical procedures. However, with an abundance of risk free, natural health and beauty secrets everywhere, you have to ask yourself why there aren’t being adopted more readily. So what is true beauty?
Probably the most surprising beauty secret is water, something we are surrounded by but often ignore. It is surprising just how much you can improve your skin, getting rid of unwanted and harmful toxins, by drink eight to ten glasses per day. The modern world is full of waste and much of it ends up being absorbed by our skin but water is a superb way to cleanse our system.
Eating fruits and vegetables daily are a natural way to get the vitamins and minerals one needs. Each fruit or vegetable, for instance, can have particular benefits on your skins health and fruit juices assist us with our health and energy levels. There are a number of fruit juices, including, orange, carrot, apple and cucumber which are excellent at conditioning skin, hair and nails.
Don’t dismiss regular exercise as this has the benefit of oxygenating the blood and where the effects are seen very quickly. Walking, running, swimming and biking or some ways in which women can improve their skin tone, hair texture and overall health. Those are not the only advantages gained by exercise though because you burn off calories faster, digest food more efficiently and eliminate toxins from your body.
You must have noticed the improved attitude that fit, healthy people have on their life and the world. The effect of this is to often look and feel more youthful. Everyone knows just how good you feel when you have bathed or showered so you should do this regularly as it invigorates the mind and body. Depending on your day, you may want to shower in the morning as pleasant wake up stimulant or bathe before bed to relax you from the stresses of your day. In the morning, your eyes will be bright and your body will feel energized.
No-one today advocates sitting in the sun without protection but it is a necessary source of energy and vitamins too us helping with skin complaints from too little sun, helping with healthy bones and nails. I have left probably the most important beauty secret until last and that is the benefits of true, deep relationships with friends or family. It seems that acting like a hermit can have detrimental effects on your health. They may sometimes get on your nerves but your loved ones have a healing and calming effect when you are sad or unwell. Your friends know you for who you are and although may judge you, accept and support you no matter what, now that is a powerful beauty secret.
